Ed Boyle and James Bennett of Interpath Advisory were appointed the Joint Special Administrators (“JSAs”) of Viola Money (Europe) Limited (“the Company” or “Viola”) on 21 December 2021. James Bennett resigned as Joint Special Administrator with effect from 14 August 2023. Robert Spence was appointed as Joint Special Administrator by Order of Court with effect from 14 August 2023.
Only limited information is available at this early stage of the Special Administration. Our initial actions will be to secure the assets of the Company, including securing all customer safeguarded funds.
Whilst every effort will be made to return funds to customers as soon as possible, it will firstly be necessary for the Joint Special Administrators to secure control of all relevant information, reconcile balances and ensure that the necessary due diligence and know your customer information is present, current and correct. Unfortunately, customers will not have access to their funds while these works are undertaken.
We will update this page and the Frequently Asked Questions (“FAQs”) with any updates on progress and should you have any queries please consult this website in the first instance.
The Joint Special Administrators’ team can be contacted by emailing vmoney@interpathadvisory.com or calling 0203 989 2733. The helpline is open between 9am and 5pm Monday – Friday (excluding UK bank holidays). If you call out of hours you can leave a voicemail and one of our team will get back to you.
