Contis Financial Services Limited – in Administration

Robert Spence and Joshua James Dwyer of Interpath Advisory were appointed Joint Special Administrators (“JSAs”) of Contis Financial Services Limited (“the Company” or “CFSL”) on 30 January 2025. The Company ceased to trade on administration.

Background

The Company offered payments services and pre-paid cards to UK customers. When the Company went into special administration, all customer accounts were frozen. We are now working to return the money held in customer accounts (Relevant Funds) to customers. The Company also traded under the business name Solaris, and partnered with multiple distributor programs, so a customer’s account may have been branded under names including:

  • credEcard
  • Trilogy
  • Engage
  • Wirex
  • Ffrees
  • Plutus

Notice that the Customer Claim Portal has been opened.

We have previously contacted customers (for whom we hold contact details) with invitations to submit their claims on a Customer Claims Portal. As part of this, we provided customers with their unique ID for logging into the Customer Claims Portal and advised customers of their account balance per the records of the Company. If you are a customer and haven’t received your unique ID and/or confirmation of your account balance, please contact ContisFScustomers@interpath.com.

Important - Bar Date Notice

The JSAs have set a Bar Date of 19 December 2025 to assist with the return of customers’ funds as soon as practicably possible. This is the deadline for customers to submit a claim for money in their account held by the Company under the Electronic Money Regulations 2011 (Relevant Funds Claim). If customers do not submit a claim by this date, they may lose their entitlement to have their funds returned to them.

The Bar Date only applies to Relevant Funds Claims and does not relate to any other type of claim that you may have against CFSL.

Customers should submit their claim on the Customer Claims Portal - www.ips-docs.com.

The formal Bar Date Notice and FAQs are available under the Statutory Notices and Reports section below.
